AU Ball 2011

It's that time of year again were you have the chance to attend the prestigious AU Ball. Due to change of venue and with so many of our racers picking awards up on the evening, we are left with only 6 tickets to allocate to the rest of the club!!

 

If you haven't been to this event before, it's one not to be missed. It's one of the few occasions were us Snowriders get the chance to dress up (as our own sex) and fine dine with the rest of the AU.

 

The night will kick off with a 3 course meal (wine included) at Liverpool’s dock-front 5* Crown Plaza Hotel followed by the presenting of the all important club awards will be presented.

 

This year, the club will be nominated for most improved team, best team, most improved club and best club, all of which we are in with a serious chance of picking up . . . something you do not want to miss!!! (especially if you have helped us earn it!!)

 

Trophy in hand or not, it’s then time to take off your tie and let down your hair as we stumble into town for the after party at Revolution, St. Peter's Square. This is where your fellow Snowrider and AU members will join you for a slightly (but not much) more sophisticated AU night.

  

Payment for the ball itself shall be done a little old school for this event (or the norm for other clubs), this will unfortunately require chasing down myself and handing me the cash on one of the many days I’m residing in the Harold Cohen Library.

 

If you are lucky enough to have reserved a place (below), you will then have a further week to pay (until Friday 18th March) before you place will be given up as money must be collected for AU payment.
